The healing properties of herbs
It is well known healing properties of herbs from ancient times to today. The votanalogia is the beginning of pharmaceutical scientists also used as a base for medicines information from a plant or a combination thereof. So there are indeed scientific findings that support the therapeutic effect of most herbs used. The truth is that herbs when processed properly, have much to offer in our organization
Gathering herbs
The gathering should never be rainy days, but we prefer the sunny days. The flowers and leaves should not have more moisture. Cut using a sharp tool taking care not to injure the plant. For plants from which we collect the shoots, we make bunches of 3-4 branches to the drain.
Maintenance herbs
The drying is done in a well ventilated, warm room with constant temperature and dry atmosphere, beneath the shade, dry. We make sure to turn often flowers and leaves to dry out comprehensively. Proper drainage helps plants to avoid losing their pharmaceutical properties. Avoid drying in the sun because they lost a significant part of fragrance and color of the plant.
Storing herbs
After drying, the proper maintenance is the next step. Initially we care enough to obtain clear, glass containers, preferably with an airtight closure. Then put each plant in a container that closes well and the store room without light and moisture. We make sure to write what each plant contains the container and when drained. Usually reserved for one year because the more they lose much of their aroma.
